MMP's popular line of tach adapters have been used in engine swaps worldwide. Our 6-4 D/A converter changes the digital output signal pulse from the 6 cyl ecu and converts it to 4 cyl analogue, which drives your original tachometer (pre-92 VW). For non can-bus systems only! Some competitors modules feature dip switches to configure the adapter for multiple applications. We have found these prone to vibration failure due to having a mechanical switch, terminal tension issues and and moisture ingress causing corrosion on switch contacts.  Our units are fully sealed and configured with a simple 4 wire installation. They are compact and can be tucked behind your instrument cluster. They are so durable that the first adapter we produced is still in service and going strong 18 years after being made!
